Formed in 2015, the MHHC Women’s 2nd team has grown in strength and experience to become a competitive, fun and friendly team with a focus on the development of players.

The team ended the 2018/19 season in 3rd place—with the same points as 2nd place—and were runners up in the LRHA Women’s Plate. After 2020/21 was cut short, the 2s are eagerly looking forward to see what they can achieve in 2021/22.

During the season the MHHC Women’s section train every Tuesday at 19:00–21:00, with additional training throughout the Summer, led by coach David Richardson. All ages and abilities are welcome, come along to a training session or get in touch for further details.

The Women’s 2nd team play in the Midlands Women’s Division 4 Nene / Charnwood Hockey League.
